St. Leonard's Church, Exeter

Situated closely to the centre of Exeter, St. Leonard's Church has a friendly congregation of evangelical Christians who welcome other Christians to their church family, as well as those wanting to learn more about the church.

With a history dating back to the twelfth century when the first St. Leonard's was built, there has been numerous rebuilds since. The present building was first started in 1876, with the church being completed 10 years later.

Each Sunday service is based around Bible teachings, with prayers and songs included within the services. During the week there is also a selection of other activities for members of the congregation to get involved with, including a women's bible study group, a men's bible study group, and a toddler group.

During each weekly service, St. Leonard's provide a Kids Church divided into two groups, one of children aged under eleven and another of secondary education age with children aged up to eighteen years old.

St. Leonard's church is dedicated to introducing students into the congregation with a devoted student team who will help students settle into Exeter's university lifestyle.

Also, for the older members of the congregation who have reached retirement the church offers a Lens Monday Group where they travel around Devon to local events and locations.
