St. Thomas Methodist Church, Exeter

Part of the Exeter Coast and Country Circuit, St. Thomas Methodist Church offers regular services each week on both Sunday morning and evening where the local congregation gathers to worship. Each service reflects the Methodist beliefs through hymns, prayer and preaching, and their weekly hymns include both more traditional songs as well as modern music.

St. Thomas Church is home to the St. Thomas Gospel Choir, which was first established in 2006. The choir has grown significantly and is now very much sought over.

Children are always welcomed within the church with family services throughout the year that involves all ages within the worship. One of the numerous events that is offered to both adults and children is the St. Thomas 'Messy Church' where the congregation is invited to worship together. Held once a month, the 'Messy Church' revolves around arts and crafts, food, and celebration.

The church is used for a wide range of events during the month which includes coffee mornings, and social groups for young individuals.

As part of the Exeter Coast & Country Circuit, St. Thomas is one of twenty-seven churches within the circuit. Formed in 2011 following the three local circuits, the circuit covers Exeter and towns along the coast of East Devon and the surrounding towns around Exeter.
